Sub-surface laser engraving has been a core capability at Crystal Moments since our first day of operation. Over the years, we have developed extensive experience in producing detailed and consistent engravings within solid crystal, supporting a wide range of corporate and commemorative projects in Singapore.
This process involves engraving images beneath the surface of a transparent crystal block using precisely controlled laser points. As the engraving is created entirely within the crystal, the surface remains smooth and unmarked, resulting in a clean, permanent and highly durable finish.
Both 2D and 3D sub-surface engravings can be produced, depending on the nature of the artwork and the desired visual effect. 2D engravings are well-suited for architectural images, logos and text-based designs, while 3D engravings allow for greater depth and realism when working with suitable reference images.
Image quality plays a critical role in achieving optimal engraving results. Clear contrast, well-defined details and suitable image composition help ensure that the engraved image appears sharp and balanced when viewed within the crystal. Where necessary, images may be adjusted to improve clarity prior to engraving.
With careful control over engraving parameters and quality checks throughout production, we are able to deliver crystal engravings that are consistent, refined and well-suited for formal presentations and long-term display.
